She also offers consulting services in the field of Intellectual Property, particularly in drafting software, trademark, and copyright licensing agreements. She has extensive experience in protecting assets in the retail sector and in developing trademark protection strategies.

Law Degree from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (Unicap).
Certified in the General Course on Intellectual Property by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Certified in Artificial Intelligence – Practical and Theoretical Aspects of Governance by Data Privacy Brasil.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Before fully dedicating herself to the Intellectual Property, Technology, and Data Protection practice, Maria Júlia worked for two years in the Corporate Law field, gaining experience in Corporate Law, Contracts, and interdisciplinary business-related matters.

She co-authored an article published in the book “Challenges of Data Protection in the Information Age,” titled “Reflections on the Use of Facial Recognition Technologies by the Private Sector in Brazil: Applications, Challenges, and the Need for Compliance with the LGPD.”
