EXPERIENCE
Simony Braga has over 15 years of experience in both advisory and litigation legal services for companies in labor and union matters. She provides comprehensive guidance on labor relations, recommending preventive and corrective measures for workplace routines and offering full support to the involved departments. Simony has expertise in strategic litigation, both in administrative and judicial spheres. She practices in Collective Labor Law, advising companies on contingencies such as negotiations, collective bargaining agreements, and labor disputes. Simony is the partner responsible for coordinating the specialized Business Labor Law department at the firm. She is a frequent speaker and author of numerous legal publications focused on Labor and Union Law. She also serves as the Regional Legal Committee Coordinator for the Northeast chapter of the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) and is a member of the National ABF Legal Studies Committee. Additionally, she participates in the Labor Relations Group within the Startup Regulatory Environment Thematic Committee, under Brazil’s Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation and the Ministry of Economy. Simony is also a member of UN Women.

Postgraduate degree in Labor Law and Labor Procedure, Superior School of Labor Magistracy (ESMATRA).
Postgraduate degree in Labor Law and Global Governance, University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain).
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Prior to focusing exclusively on Business Labor Law at DFA, Simony served as Legal Manager in the industrial sector, advising five distribution units in the states of Bahia, Pernambuco, and Pará from 2008 to 2011.

Recognized by the British publication Chambers & Partners for her work in Labour & Employment, ranked Band 1 (1st place) for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025).
